Memorial Signage, NPWS Blue Mountains

Memorial signage dedicated to NPWS staff

Memorial signage installed at George Phillips lookout in the Blue Mountains commemorates National Parks and Wildlife staff who lost their lives while on duty in service to the NSW community. It features beautiful Aboriginal artwork by Chris Tobin and also highlights the important connection of countless generations of Aboriginal people to the land and all living things.

The site also has a memorial plaque and lyrebird sculpture. Both made of stainless steel the lyrebird sculpture is the iconic bird that creates the NPWS logo.
