The Spirit of the Land Aboriginal exhibition artwork showcases a selection of posters, flyers, invitations, postcards and other interpretive material. It celebrates the spectacular national parks of the Port Macquarie area. The project was brought to life by collaboration between the National Parks and Wildlife Service (NPWS), Birpai Local Aboriginal Land Council (LALC) and many community organisations and individuals, each expressing their care for Country through their contributions.
These beautiful drawings are into a lightbox of sand. Wipe it clean and start again – the kids love it!
Below are a series of posters designed for the various aspects of the exhibition.
