Saving our Species Signage
Saving our Species signage aims to protect and educate visitors about vulnerable plants and animals and what they can do to help. It is a NSW statewide program that aims to secure threatened plants and animals in the wild.
Since European settlement in Australia, more than 100 animal and plant species have become extinct. In NSW alone, there are close to 1,000 animal and plant species at risk of extinction. Saving our Species is the NSW Government’s initiative to secure as many of these species as possible in the wild for the next 100 years.
