Indigenous Signs, Captain Cooks Lookout Nambucca
Interpretive indigenous signs were commissioned by Nambucca Shire Council to tell the dreamtime story of the Gumbaynggirr Peoples homeland. The view at Captain Cook Lookout is spectacular and the combination of curved beach and Nambucca River make this a wonderful scene. Two signs sit side by side – one in Gumbaynggirr and the other in English.
