Introducing Simpson, our former dishwasher now reincarnated as a home for goldfish. Peter put Simpson together in 2014 and he has been a feature of the backyard ever since. He comes complete with running water (solar powered pump) and appears to be washing the bowl in his “hand.” The glass is fused and then slumped into its form. Visitors generally look puzzled upon meeting Simpson but we have had a couple of compliments on the adaptive re-use of a dead appliance.
