Researching Interpretive Projects

The Teardrop Camper Company

The beautiful Teardrop Camper, hand crafted by Frank Scenna of the The Teardrop Camper Company, was delivered on Saturday 30 November 2013. She has settled in very well after a couple of teething problems probably due to the nervous first-time parents. Her bright red flanks will soon be adorned with the company logo and then she will be ready for duty around the country as our mobile hotel room.

Researching interpretive projects on location

The Teardrop was purchased with the view to researching interpretive projects on location for heritage sites. All the mod cons are onboard: a queen size bed with memory foam overlay; small kitchenette: toolbox up front; and, of course, TV, CD player and the very important fridge. Her diminutive size belies her well appointed and comfortable function. Parents and “baby” are now relaxed and looking forward to our new life together.
