eBay and eCommerce Sellers Conference
The Professional eBay and eCommerce Sellers Conference (PeSA) runs annually on the Gold Coast. If you are thinking ecommerce then this is not to be missed. They have an extraordinary line up of speakers who share their insights and often incredible stories of their rise to success.
It is a conference focused on practicality, the HOW to sell online and not the THEORY of selling online.
One particular case study that caught my attention when I attended the conference in 2011 was Joe Button.
They are a purely online fashion startup achieving great success in less than one year. Launched in August 2011 they describe themselves as a technology enabled fashion company.
For the two co-founders Modi and Melissa, branding was their main focus to attract loyal customers who are prepared to pay a higher price. They focus on selling their product as a life-style choice and take extraordinary steps to ensure a great customer experience.
A few months after the launch of their site a ‘Live Chat’ function was enabled and this doubled their conversion rate.
